Fabiola is an interesting story told through the eyes of an eleven -year old girl in all- Cameroonian boarding school. Musih Tedji Xaviere did a remarkable job in painting a vivid picture of the psychological, social and physical journey of Fabiola to womanhood.I think this book is a case of a well documented way of the African school systems and as such should be studied.
My favorite part is how Fabiola accepted what life had placed at her feet and built a coping mechanism. This uniquely styled piece of literature is suitable for a broad range of readers.
