TRANSITION ABROAD CALLS FOR TRAVELOGUES

Transitions Abroad is always looking for experienced (published) writers to become regular contributors, columnists, or contributing editors for a webzine on TransitionsAbroad.com, The webzine receives well over 8,400,000+ visitors yearly (as of January, 2011) from a fast growing worldwide audience.
Manuscripts should be sent electronically and addressed to webeditorial@transitionsabroad.com. Contributors are expected to include their contact information. Only Microsoft Word documents attachments will be expected. However, entries made in other formats can be cut and pasted into the text portion of the email message. Photos may be sent electronically as attachments after the acceptance of the piece. The author’s name, address, phone and fax number, and email address should appear on at least the first page of the manuscript of the attached document. 
Note that the magazine is looking for only original first-time rights for original articles. A web search will be conducted to verify. 
Also include a short biographical note at the end of each submission. Interested writers may include a head shot photo of yourself, and link(s) to your blog/website. 
For publication in Transitions Abroad’s website and webzine, payment is on acceptance, ranging from $50 to $150 (the average payment is $100) based upon how much traffic they believe the submission will generate over time from their audience. Payment for first-time submissions is made via check or PayPal.
