The Eric Gregory Awards/ How to submit (£24,000)

The Eric Gregory Award, founded in 1960 by the late Dr Eric Gregory is for poets under the age of 30. This award was birthed with the aim of encouraging young writers.

October 31, 2020 at 5pm (GMT+)

Who is eligible for The Eric Gregory Awards?

  • Applicants must be under the age of 30 on the 31 of October 2020
  • Applicants must be a British National or resident in Great Britain and the Northern Ireland of the commonwealth for three years prior to the date of submission
  • No entry fee

Submission Guidelines for the Eric Gregory Awards

  • Submission must be in English
  • Submission may be published or unpublished volume of poetry, drama poems or belle-lettres
  • Submission must be no more than 30 poems
  • Submission must not have been previously published for The Eric Gregory Awards
