THE WINNER OF THE 2015 AWELE CREATIVE TRUST AWARD IS…

The  2015 Awele creative trust award winner (April 12, 2016) went to Nneoma Ike Njoku for her short story, The Burial

The results were announced by Awele Creative Center and the ACT Award judges- Joe Dunthorne, Chibundu Onuzo and Rahul Bhattacharya.

Njoku’s “The Burial”  is a clever, deftly delivered tale which  remains  in the imagination  long after it has  been read.

Entries were open for submission from September 1 – November 15, 2015.

Our congratulations to Njoku who won N50 000.
