Querencia Press Scavengers Literary Magazine Submissions is currently open to writers with experimental writings worldwide

Scavengers Literary Magazine accepts work of hybridity, experimental, fragmentary or flash. They accept art, comics and mixed media images. Scavengers don’t define these things, instead they want you to show them what these words mean to you.

Send them your proems, your friction, your flessays, your fabricated genres or forms. They are especially fond of analog collages! Ensure that your work is eloquently written to tell your story and ideas.

Guidelines for Scavengers Literary Magazine Submission 

  1. Written work should be less than or around 1000 words.
  2. Submit up to three pieces of poetry, prose, art, or a mix of all 3, during open calls. All 3 pieces should be sent in the same email.
  3. Please do not send multiple emails. Check their instagram account @scavengers.lit to stay up-to-date on all things Scavengers related.
  4. If you’ve found that they are open for submissions, please submit up to 3 pieces to querenciascavengers@gmail.com.
  5. Include a short biographical statement in third person including your pronouns. Learn how to write the best short biography for submission.
  6. The subject line should have the titles of your works, so if submitting art, please give each piece a title.
  7. Please upload all submissions as a microsoft word .docx or .doc file.

Payment 

Scavengers Literary Magazine aren’t currently a paying journal, but they will also never charge for submissions.
