Saraba Creative Writing Workshop 2011…

Applications have opened for the 1st Edition of the Saraba Creative Writing Workshop. The workshop will be holding at the Obafemi Awolowo Uinversity, Ile-Ife and is expected to last from 26th to 28th May 2011.

Participants will be expected to read and discuss a wide range of fiction as well as complete short writing exercises. This will be a great opportunity for both budding and professional writers to hone their skills and gain some exposure.

The Workshop will be divided into General Sessions and Genre-based Sessions. General Sessions is to focus on the general creative life, contemporary creative and artistic indulgences as well as reflections on the work of an artist.

Application deadline is 23rd May 2011. Participation in the workshop is limited to those who apply and are accepted. There are only a few spots available and so interested applicants are advised to apply early.
