Opportunity For Writers to Join Chimamanda Adichie’s Team—Apply
Writers are invited to apply for the internships positions being advertised by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s team. If you have read all of Chimamanda Adichie’s fiction and nonfiction, you most likely want a chance to intern with her team.
The positions are for a Lagos-based intern and a research intern. Both interns will receive emoluments.
Who is eligible to apply for the job with Chimamanda Adichie’s team?
- A writer and philosopher
- The Lagos-based intern must be resident in Lagos
- The research intern can work from anywhere in the world
Job description:
- The Lagos-based Intern must be willing to follow pop culture and fashion
- The research assistant must demonstrate a high ability to research topics in history, literature and politics.
- Both interns must be communicative, responsible, and diligent in carrying out their duties.
How To Apply:
- Write a short essay about yourself. Your essay should also convince the recruitment team that you are the best-qualified applicant for the position you are interested in.
- Send your application in the body of the email to: ayajunwa@gmail.com
The team will contact only applicants they are interested in interviewing.
Good luck.
For the above intern position why must it be lagos based? I think an opportunity should be given to other locality since the writer can work anywhere. My humble take on. Thanks
Am interested in joining Chimamanda’s team. I have also loved her writings and admire the way she talks.
Hello Blessing, I see your point. In the future, Chimamanda Adichie will probably consider hiring writers in other zip codes. You can apply for the research assistant’s position though.. Good luck!
Please when is the deadline for submission?
Please when is the deadline for submission??
The advert didn’t specify any deadline. But that shouldn’t stop you from applying. You’ll never know if you still have a chance, if you don’t try.
Good luck
