Writers/poets are invited to participate in Nitalks poetry contest. You can win the sum of N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) What’s more? Top 10 poems and poets will be featured on the first page of the website .http://www.nitalks.com for a week.

To participate in the contest, follow the guidelines below as a contestant might be disqualified if he/she does otherwise.

Guidelines/Eligibility

  •  All poets should send their email addresses as the winner/s will be contacted using the emails provided.
  • All submissions should be in English language. Submissions in any language other than English will be rejected.
  • Poets are strongly encouraged to proofread and edit their work thoroughly; poorly written poems will be rejected, and it will be great to note that the quality of your grammar and writing is a factor in deciding the winner/s.
  • All submissions should be original. Copied poems will be REJECTED.
  • Only one submission is accepted, multiple submissions result in automatic disqualification.
  •  PLEASE this competition is for Nigerians ONLY; anybody who submits should either be a resident or a national.

Winners will be chosen based on the number of votes; you are free to invite you friends to vote your poems.

Submissions will be closing on 26th June 2016, and from 28th June, all poems after this date will be rejected.

Note:

Winner/s are implored to reply the emails with all requested information in less than two business days. All late replies will be automatically disqualified in favor of the next contestant.
