Media Ethics Essay Contest
Essays should be emailed to ethicontest@cimethics.org along with the author’s name, country of origin and contact information. Submissions submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
Authors who intend to submit previously published articles should include a reference to its original publication date and source (as well as website link, in the case of online publication).
The winner of the 2011 CIME Ethicontest will be awarded a scholarship to become certified in J-Ethinomics, CIME’s online media-ethics training program.
In addition, the winner will receive the book “The Elements of Journalism: What Newspeople Should Know and the Public Should Expect” by Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel.
Also, the winning essay will be published on the CIME website and in the CIME newsletter.
