Kenyon Review Short Story Contest 2016
Deadline: 29th February, 2016
What good is your story if its still sitting unpublished in your drawer? None. Yep. Here’s your chance to send that story out into the world. What’s more, you could win the prestigious Kenyon Review Short story contest.
Before you apply, here are the rules.
The 2016 KR Short Fiction Contest is for writers who haven’t yet published a book of fiction. If you’ve published a non-fiction book, I think you can apply.
Submissions must be 1,200 words or fewer.
No simultaneous submissions please. And do not submit previously published stories.
There is a reading fee of $20.
The winning story will be published in the Jan/Feb 2017 issue of the KR Magazine. The author will also receive a scholarship to attend the 2016 Writers Workshop, June 18th-25th, in Gambier, Ohio.
