Full Stop Editorial Fellows Program 2024/ How To Apply (Up to $1250)

Full Stop Editorial Fellows. Call for applications flyer.

Full Stop, an online journal of literary and cultural criticism, invites applications for two Full Stop Editorial Fellows. This six-month fellowship provides emerging writers and editors with the opportunity to independently envision, commission, and edit an issue of the Full Stop Quarterly.

Full Stop Quarterly was launched in 2015, with the idea of concentrating Full Stop’s critical work through a thematic arc. This has included special issues on topics as varied as monsters, grad student unionization, the act of listening, international poetry, and translation. Full Stop’s first two editorial fellows, Kudrat Wadhwa and Nico Millman were selected in 2021, and compiled issues on Cynicism and The Cultural Politics of Land, respectively.

While the fellows will be given a wide berth to determine the theme of their issues, the core values of Full Stop must remain intact—supporting the work of critics, small presses, and the aesthetically, linguistically, and socially marginalized communities of writers they represent.
