  • Speculative fiction writers from anywhere in the world
  • No age restrictions
  • No entry fee

Submission Guidelines for Dark Dispatch: Redemption Submission

  • Submission should revolve around the theme and genre should be one of the following:
  1. Dark fantasy
  2. Science fiction
  3. Horror
  4. Crime
  • No reprints
  • No multiple submission
  • The document should be submitted as a .doc or .docx file only

Document Format:

  • Times New Roman or Arial
  • 12 pt font in black text
  • Double-space
  • First-line of each paragraph should be indented half an inch (using the format tool not by striking the space bar 5 times)
  • One space after the end of a sentence.
  • Email submission to darkdispatchsubs@gmail.com
  • The subject of the email should be “Fiction Submission_Submission calls_Story title_Word count” e.g., Fiction Submission_Redemption_Angel in red_1974 words

The email should include the following

  • A brief bio of no more than 80 words (do not include a list of all your publication credits)
  • Verification of a PayPal account as this is the only mode of payment
  • Indicate if this is a simultaneous submission
  • Verification that the first worldwide English publication rights for the work is available
