Recently, an essay contest was organized in honour of the United Nations International Year of Youths. The essay was themed around the roles of youths in helping to consolidate democracy.
The organizers of the Change Your World Essay Contest have announced winner. The first prize winner is Onyinyechi Mbam, a nineteen-year old medical student at the Ebonyi State University Medical College, Nigeria.
The topic of the essay contest was: “…faced with the challenges of terrorism and post-electoral violence; what can young people do to help consolidate … democracy?’
