Book Worms publishes lots of engaging articles, reviews, short stories, puzzles, art, and all kinds of (cheap) horror fun.

Submission Guidelines For Book Worms Horror Zine

  • They are currently accepting submissions for their Halloween issue.
  • Exclusive rights for six months after publication.
  • The length of your horror fiction or nonfiction on the Halloween theme should be not more than 1,500 words.
  • To submit your work, you will have to mail new horror fiction or essays (Halloween themes please) under 1500 words to:

    La Regina Studio/Grundy Commons/925 Canal Street/Bristol, PA 19007.
  • You can also submit your work to bookwormssubmissions@gmailcom.
  • Please include your email address on your submission, if you plan to mail it.

  • Book Worms does not want reprints or multiple submissions per one person. So, please limit yourself to one submission per mail or email until after the deadline.
  • They will reply to every reasonable inquiry. They might take a few weeks to review your submission but you can be assured that they will reply.
  • Acceptance notices will be sent through email so no need to include self-addressed, stamped envelope. Please include your email address on your submission, if you plan to mail it.
