Requirements

To apply for this fellowship, you’ll need to submit the following documents:

• Cover letter
• CV
• Three-page project description
• Draft project budget

 

You’ll also need to propose a project that demonstrates ambition and originality. If selected, you’ll be expected to complete or make significant progress on your project during the fellowship term.

Benefits of The Open Society Fellowship 

• As an Open Society Fellow, you’ll receive:
• A living stipend of $100,000 for one year. 
• Up to $20,000 for project expenses. 
• Financial support for travel to advance your project. 
• Expenses covered for two fellowship gatherings per year.
