The Open Society Foundations is inviting applications from Lagos-based thinkers for its prestigious Open Society Fellowship. This fellowship program supports innovative thinkers and practitioners from around the world, and this year, it’s open exclusively to residents of seven cities:

You’ll also need to propose a project that demonstrates ambition and originality. If selected, you’ll be expected to complete or make significant progress on your project during the fellowship term.

Benefits of The Open Society Fellowship 

  • As an Open Society Fellow, you’ll receive:
  • A living stipend of $100,000 for one year. 
  • Up to $20,000 for project expenses. 
  • Financial support for travel to advance your project. 
  • Expenses covered for two fellowship gatherings per year.
