The Drabblecast is Now Accepting Submissions/ How to Submit (Payment: $.06/Word)

An award-winning online speculative fiction magazine and podcast, The Drabblecast publishes “Strange Stories for Strange Listeners”, or what is also called “Weird Fiction”—which are science fiction, fantasy, and horror. They are now looking for Weird Fiction that are powerful and that will work well when read aloud. They respond to submissions within 3 months, and most times sooner.

Who is Eligible to Submit:

  • Anyone writing from anywhere in the world.

How to Submit:

  • Submit a short story of between 500 and 4000 words (note that there is no payment for submissions that are under 500 words).
  • Simultaneous submissions and reprints are accepted.
  • Multiple submissions are not allowed.
  • Submit to submissions@drabblecast.org
  • They respond within 3 months.

Payment:

  • $.06 per word; a maximum of $300.
