AFRICAN WRITING PRIZE FOR FLASH FICTION 2011
The results for the African writing prize for flash fiction 2011 have been published. Eight writers had their stories shortlisted for the prize. Here is the list of winners.

However , Jayne Bauling emerged the overall winner with her story, ‘Settling’.
According to the judges, 151 entries were received from sixteen countries in this inaugural edition of the prize. Entries were judged blind, with the final selection of the short-list made by Sarah Ladipo Manyika, the competition judge.
