The Pig’s Back Journal Is Accepting Fiction and Non-fiction/ How To Submit (€300)
The Pig’s Back is an Ireland-based journal that publishes fiction and non-fiction, and they have opened a short submission window that will be closed soon.
The Pig’s Back Journal (named for Donegal’s Muckish mountain and for the phrase ar mhuin na muice, to be in luck) is a literary prose journal that aims to bring the rest of Ireland – and in turn, the world – to the northwest.
It was founded by the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny, it publishes short fiction and essays. Although they have a particular interest in writing from the northwest, they are equally eager to read work from all across Ireland, and beyond.
Their main aim is to provide opportunities for those voices who have yet to be discovered, to help them define themselves and guide them in their careers. The future will bring workshops and residencies but for now they are focused on the written word.
This is an opportunity for all writers with original fiction or nonfiction pieces to earn from it. If you wish to submit your work, please follow the guidelines below.
