- No work will be reviewed until submissions are closed.
- Depending on the volume of content received, they will take approximately one month to come to a decision regarding the winners.
- Entrants are reminded to only submit work that already meets the high standard of Antelope Hill Publishing, and to keep submissions to an absolute maximum of 5,000 words.
- Edit your work before submitting.
- The theme is “Touch Grass.”
- They actively seek stories and poems about the importance of real-life experiences contradicting to spending time online. The Internet has its benefits, but we must not forget our roots in real-life interpersonal relationships. Prompts can be about forging strong bonds, in trailblazing political organization, reconnecting with old friends, or even appreciating the beauty of nature. The prompt is not limited to these ideas; the organizers of the contest wishes to keep the topic broad so as to encourage a wide array of ideas. And life is full of ups and downs, so the mood need not be limited to only triumph, but can also cover struggle, pensiveness, and heartbreak. Just make it natural.
