£10,000 Prize In The Deborah Rogers Foundation Writers’ Award 2016

Talented, first-time writers who need of financial support to complete their books are eligible to apply for the £10000 award.

The Deborah Rogers Foundation will present the prize money to the writer who demonstrates literary talent. Only writers who are above 18 years of age and from commonwealth countries can apply.

How Can You Apply?

  • Submit 20,000 – 30,000 words from your work in progress. Fiction and non-fiction manuscripts are welcome, as long as they aren’t under any contract or option.
  • Open to previously unpublished writers
  • Entries mus be in English Language. Applicants must be residents of British Commonwealth countries.
  • Submissions should be sent with a brief synopsis and a short bio.

The 2016 Writers’ Award  opened on 1st November, 2015. Send in your entries. Deadline for submission is 31st January,  2016.

The lucky winner will be announced in the summer of 2016.
